These are high resolution images that can be enlarged to 24" X 30" and still retain their resolution. They are ROYALTY-FREE and COPYRIGHT-FREE, and can be used for any commercial purpose, except selling them as images on CD, DVD, or as downloads in direct competion with Awesome Art.

A very tragic figure in history, Henri Marie Raymond de Toulouse-Lautrec was born in France, the firstborn child of Count Alphonse and Countess Adele de Toulouse-Lautrec. An aristocratic family, the Toulouse-Lautrecs were feeling the effects of the inbreeding of past generations. His parents were first cousins and Henri suffered from a number of congenital health conditions attributed to the inbreeding. Henri was deformed, and barely 5 feet tall!
Toulouse was drawn to Montmartre, an area of Paris famous for its bohemian lifestyle and for being the haunt of artists, writers, and philosophers. They were more tolerant and accepting of his disablilities and he was commissioned to paint posters for the Moulin Rouge. An alcoholic for most of his adult life, Toulouse was placed in a sanatorium shortly before his death. He died from complications due to alcoholism and Syphilis fewer than three months before his 37th birthday.

The images on the CD are in jpg format. The average image is approximately 2500 X 2200 pixels and 1.2 megabyte, some are smaller and some are larger, but this is an average. They have been extensively photo-edited to optimize color and contrast levels, hue and saturation and to bring out their brilliance and clarity. They can easily be printed out to a size 24" X 30" poster or print without distortion.

If you would rather not wait for postal delivery, you can receive these images in a download file. You can receive them as a compressed ZIP file in which you download the ZIP file and use WinZip on your computer to extract the files. If you do not have WinZip you can receive them as a self-extracting executable (EXE) file. In this case after you download the EXE file to your computer, just double-click on it and then extract the images to the folder of your choice. Whether you get them as a ZIP or EXE, they contain the exact same images as the CD's. If you request to receive them as a download file then we will send a download link otherwise they will be shipped in the mail.
